Rules
Season 2026–27. Sixteen films. Two hundred dollars. Oscar night March 14, 2027.
How to play
1. Make an account
Open Login. Create an account with email and password. Sign in. Email confirm is off for this season.
2. Join or start a league
Go to Leagues. Join with a six-letter code, or start a league and send that code to your group.
3. Draft 16 films
Open Draft. You have $200. Pick 16 titles. First half and second half are the two sales. You cannot drop a film after you take it.
4. Watch the four scores
Box office, Top 5 weekends, Rotten Tomatoes, and awards. Each category is ranked among the players in your league. Those ranks add up. Highest total wins.
5. Watch standings
Open Standings to see every slate in the room. Scores fill in as the commissioner posts numbers.
Point values
Building a slate
Each player has $200 to spend on 16 films across two sales. Selections are final. No dropping titles.
If a film leaves the league calendar or still has no release date by December 1, the rules allow a 50% refund and a replacement from the listed January–March 2027 releases. That change needs commissioner review.
Placement, then points
Rank each player’s total in every category. With N players, first receives N points and last receives 1. Add all four placement scores for the overall total.
Tied category places split their placement points. Two tied for first among 22 players receive (22 + 21) ÷ 2 = 21.5 each; next receives 20. Overall ties share a rank, then skip the occupied positions.

Box office
Total domestic theatrical dollars from March 19, 2026 through Oscar night 2027. Missing public totals stay blank and count as zero until a number exists.
Top 5
Monday actuals for the domestic weekend chart: first = 5, second = 4, third = 3, fourth = 2, fifth = 1. Each completed weekend counts once. Estimates are rejected.
Rotten Tomatoes
Average critic Tomatometer across films that have a score. Unrated films are excluded. A real 0% counts. Scores stay provisional until Oscar night.
Awards
Eligible awards from Cannes through Oscar night. Nomination points and win bonuses are added, not substituted.
